OkeWork Support

OkeWork is a browser workspace for office workers, operated by Thao Duong. Use the Chrome extension or open the web app at app.okework.com.

Email [email protected]. Include the affected feature, expected and actual behavior, OkeWork version and browser version. Redact account details, private content and company information from screenshots.

Do not email Google passwords, PASSKEYs, vault PINs, API keys, tokens, cookies, .env files or full databases. These secrets are not needed to start investigating a problem.

Getting started

Open the side panel using OkeWork’s Chrome toolbar icon, choose a language and select Continue with Google. After signing in, use Home or the header’s feature groups to open Notes, Tasks, Focus and the tools you need. Choose visible modules and create personal groups in Profile.

OkeWork replaces Chrome’s New Tab page with a work overview. Background images can be disabled in New Tab settings. Some extension tools that act on other tabs or websites are unavailable in the web app.

When a tool does not work

• Sign-in: check connectivity and Google sign-in access. If the problem continues, send a redacted error screenshot. OkeWork does not collect your Google password in its own form or support email.
• Website tools: Chrome site access may be required. Internal Chrome pages, the Chrome Web Store and some protected pages prohibit injection; try an ordinary HTTPS page.
• Translation and AI: ordinary translation needs a connection. AI features require your own valid Gemini API key and available quota. Translation input is sent to the provider after a short delay. Do not enter confidential information without authorization.
• Scripts: only this module needs Allow User Scripts as well as the relevant site access. Ordinary Notes and Tasks do not need this setting. Install only code you understand and trust.
• Temporary chat: both accounts must be friends, open Chat and accept the connection. The default configuration adds no external STUN/TURN server, so some networks may fail to connect.
• Notifications: check feature settings, system permissions and do-not-disturb settings. The web app must be open; Web Push delivery after the app closes is not promised.

Data, accounts and unlocking codes

Signing out or uninstalling does not automatically delete the server account. To request a data copy or account deletion, use the Data requests page linked below or email from the address associated with your account.

The Credential vault uses client-side encryption. If you lose the unlocking code and no usable copy/device remains, the administrator has no feature to recover the plaintext for you. OkeWork PASSKEY is an application code, not a FIDO/WebAuthn credential.

OkeWork is independently operated and is not published or certified by Google. The website’s extension download link identifies ZIP or Chrome Web Store distribution according to the actual release status.
